Block Island is an island seven miles by three miles, located 13 miles off the coast of Rhode Island.  Classified as, "One of the Last Great Places," by The Nature Conservancy, Block Island is known for its pristine sandy beaches, Mohegan Bluffs towering two hundred feet above the Atlantic Ocean, and peaceful Greenway Trails.  It is also a refuge for wildlife and home to many endangered animals and plants.  Block Island is an example of an environment where humans and nature can coexist in harmony.
