Block Island Conservancy is a grass-roots organization of Block Island, Rhode Island residents and friends working to preserve Block Island’s unique characteristics – the harmony of land and sea, field and shore, wildlife and human life. With contributions large and small from members and supporters, the Block Island Conservancy acquires land to maintain habitat for birds and animals, to protect the views of hills rolling to the sea, to provide walking trails and quiet recreation to islanders and visitors.
